Now in Utah it is illegal to interact with your phone or electronic handheld device while driving, the law might include vehicle navigation systems as well, Now for all commercial drivers class A and B licenses it is illegal to talk/text on the phone while driving unless its hands-free. this law is nation-wide.

Do these places that allow talking on a phone while driving require it to be handsfree? Dialing a number or pushing and buttons is exactly the same as texting.

 

As I said before, just because there isn't a specific law about not talking on a cell phone while driving doesn't make it legal, as it's still covered by distracted driving laws.
