Honestly this may or may notΒ happen, Ghostbusters 3 has had directors and screen writers in the past.Β  Lee Eisenberg & Gene Stupnitsky were set up back in 2008 and nothing happened, back in 2012 it was Etan Cohen & Ivan ReitmanΒ and obviously Dan has had several scripts himself.Β  We will see where this goes.

I'm a big fan and think this version should not happen. I've got nothing against movies with all female casts but not for this movie. I don't think it will work, it's not something I even feel I should go see and I'm a big fan like I said.

If you can't give us a real sequel that adds to the franchise then forget it, enough with the cheap reboots, it's just a money grab.

I am also fine with a female cast (as long as McCarthy isn't in it. I want her to stay away far as possible from this franchise.) I am not fine however when they totally decide to pretty much ignore the two movies ever happened. All the characters of the GB universe do no exist. Feig is wiping the slate clean. As Mr. Ernie Hudson says " Why bother calling it Ghostbusters then? " I wholeheartly agree with him. I also don't like the fact they are completely ignoring Dan's script and making their own script. It's also the script the late Harold Ramis also worked on. That's just disrespectful in my opinion. Not cool. Do they know anything about the Paranormal? I mean Dan is a massive fan of the unknown, he believes in Ghosts and stuff. Half if not all terms came from him or from his research on the project. I.e Class 5 FRV (Full Roam Vapor), EMF scrubbers, PKE.. etc etc etc whether it's real or if he made it up.. I don't know, but hey it sounded cool. I mean hell, he could name most if not all the stuff on the Roof Rack on the Ecto-1. Anyway, I"m ranting just a bit.. so yeah.Β

I'm with you, I hope this never makes it past the script stage and they can find someone else who can respect the past 2 movies and do a good sequel not a silly reboot that takes advantage of the well known name to make it some silly all female comedy, we don't need bridesmaids with proton packs guys, just stop.

yep, it's sounds crap, it's a guy movie, sorry is that sounds sexist. If this gets made it'll be stupid, i imagine revealing costumes and bad jokes....

Speaking of new equipment and stuff I'd rather they have the old Proton Packs but upgraded a bit. Think the game's version put more compact to fit the pack's original design. It's pretty much perfected. I think that would be cool. Flight suits should stay the same IMO. Either Tan/Khaki or the Blue/Grey versions. Or maybe the new one is black. Although this probably won't happen. We will probably see them in formal dress wear as their uniform probably. Just because Feig is wiping the slate clean.Β

Ghostbusters Reboot To Be Set In New York

Director Paul Feig tells Empire Magazine, emphatically, that the new Ghostbusters reboot will be set in New York City, as the original films were. In fact, he says he

I don't care where it's going to be filmed.. as long as McCarthy is gone. If she's on board.. she better be a animated free roaming vapor.Β

She's big alright...but super annoying to even listen to.

I agree with the others.. if McCarthy is in it I will NOT go to theaters to see it and highly sure I won't even catch it till its on HBO or something so I can fast forward thru anything she is involved in.

Β

We need a #NOMcCarthyGhost hash tag or something to get going to show that people do NOT want her in the movie!

    • Looks like no official TBW rating, which should be a required listing in my opinion for sites like Amazon (hell, put it on the box too.)
    • I think I understood the article fine. Online password managers open users up to more possibilities of getting hacked, and due to KeePass being offline and local it reduces the idea of getting hacked. If someone chooses to put their database online they're kinda missing the point. With regards to the idea of the on-prem idea, I would have two issues. I'm not sure about the first issue, but I wouldn't be surprised about them offering a cloud storage for the passwords that most wouldn't bother to switch off, regardless of if they went for on-prem or not. The second issue is that the on-prem solution for Bitwarden costs money, whereas KeePass is free and open-source (as far as I am aware). The article points out how to sync the database between devices, and I recognise that deficiency in security. But it isn't a necessity. So both services can offer a same idea, but one is free and the other isn't...choices, choices.... But to each their own.

    • I am not surprised because life is the product of a lot of biochemical and physical processes that releases various energies as a by-product. The only thing new here is the detection of these photon emissions. The researches noted this "glow" is not a metaphysical one. They don't even immediately end when one is dead. Things like fires, light bulbs, and on a bigger scale stars release a lot more "light" and they are hardly alive.
