Is this the week that the new build goes out?

Recommended Posts

If memory serves. I'm out and about taking care of business for my wife and kids and as I'm driving wondering to myself, "I wonder if the new build has gone out already?"

It's this week correct?

There hasn't been any official statement on MS when the next built will be released as far as I know.

Ok, I was under the impression we were expecting one this week by a thread earlier. my mistake.

That was regarding build 9926

Actually, just after the webcast by MSFT on windows 10, the 9926 was made available in January. The new head of MSFT stated if the Seahawks would have won the super bowl, he would try to get us a new build. that was 2 Feb.

Here's my point. We've all been using 9926 for awhile now. We've been posting LORD knows feedback upon feedback. It just seems in order for us to HELP MSFT get this right, we have to get a new build to test, stress test and run and then give them feedback.

look at it this way: if they have been in the 10,xxxx builds for awhile like we have seen in leaks, how can we help? we need the next step in helping test out Windows.

9926 has only been out a month, the new build might come tomorrow or it may not. They never promised anything in feb.

The seahawks super bowl thing was regarding windows 10 phone preview, not windows 10 for pc.

They should've released a new build by now, it's been over a month since 9926, it's a shame, those June RTM rumors have to be way off at this point, instead of speeding up with new build previews they seem to have slowed down instead.

Be patient!

It's great that MS has included the public in this process; it will make a better product.  But why complain about build frequency of an unfinished, in development product. This is like the folks complaining about bugs in what is clearly a beta (pre-beta, even) product. There are bugs; it's still in development; deal with it.

We all want the latest and greatest and to see what MS has done, but whining about when the next build will come will neither make it arrive faster, make the product better or make life any easier.

Be patient. Let Microsoft do their thing and have faith in the process.

Microsoft has released three new patches for Windows 10 build 9926, new build coming soon [uPDATE]

article Feb 18th.

I think if I can explain myself a little better, How can we continue to improve this windows without a new build. I've been using 9926 since about just after the MSFT webcast live which was mid to late January. I gave a suggestion to MSFT so that we could get a utility, official, that would allow us to change our lockscreen pictures to a picture of our choice..

but hey, that's just me. have a good day everyone, have a million errands to run today. catch you all later!

I applaud the openness and public previews, but unless they've been holding back on lots features (which is hard to imagine) its very hard to get excited about Windows 10, and its certainly a very minor upgrade compared to Windows 8.

    • draw.io Desktop 30.2.6 by Razvan Serea draw.io desktop is a downloadable security-first diagramming application that runs on Windows, MacOS and Linux. Creating diagrams in the desktop app doesn’t need an internet connection. This is useful when you are disconnected or when you must create diagrams in a highly secure environment, where data protection is of the utmost importance. When you use the draw.io desktop app, your diagrams will be stored on your local device. Because this is a stand-alone application, also designed to run offline, there are no interfaces to cloud storage platforms available. Of course, you can still store your diagrams in folders that are synchronised to your cloud storage if you wish. Easy-to-use diagram editor The draw.io apps work just like the office and drawing tools you are used to using. Drag and drop shapes from the shape libraries and drag to draw connectors between them. Drag connectors to add waypoints and set a precise shape and position, or let them reroute automatically. Double click and start typing to add a label to anything. Create tables and swimlane flows with a familiar tool. Style shapes and connectors with customisable palettes, sketch options, fonts and text formatting tools. Search for shapes, including in open-source icon libraries. Use our vast libraries of shapes and templates, organised into logical categories, to create a range of diagrams and infographics. Generate diagrams from text descriptions using our smart templates. Diagram faster with keyboard shortcuts. draw.io Desktop 30.2.6 changelog: Uses electron 42.5.0 #2452 Updates to draw.io core 30.2.6.
