Since the daylight savings in Canada, or possibly my recent fresh install of Windows 8 I have been having an issue.

Hangouts (within gmail, any of the apps on chrome/windows) and Gmail itself have wrong times for messages. I am not even talking about an hour difference. At around 2:30PM if I get a message in Hangouts it says it was sent at 11:30AM.

The same goes for emails.

Now I have NEVER seen this before since the beginning of Gmail and Hangouts. They also have no settings for timezones, it grabs it from your desktop.

Anyone else have this issue or any ideas?

I didn't really see any Daytime Light saving patch landing by Microsoft to cover this:

Here is patch history link - https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/kb/914387

MSDN blog on Daytime Saving - http://blogs.technet.com/b/dst2007/

I personally believe you have to change it manually in Windows - https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/kb/914387

As for motherboard question, replace CMOS battery and reset BIOS/UEFI to default with newer one to rule out issue which could that it could be because BIOS/UEFI.

None of that makes sense to me.

My Windows is on the right time, it is the wrong timezone, but if I set the right timezone it is then the incorrect time.

The UEFI looks fine to me, no settings for timezone anyway.
