capr
I bought a new v6 ex-l tonight! I chose to go without the navigation to save $3000. Note I am trying to find the right set of aftermarket toys to turn the car into something I really love. What's the rule for buying aftermarket accessories? The screen in the dash is only good for the camera, otherwise it does nothing right now. What a waste honda.... I am planning on some led exterior and interior lights. As well as an aftermarket navigation to replace the currently useless screen. Any suggestions? Advice? Do these mods seriously damage the resale value? Thanks in advance
sc302 Veteran Posted March 29, 2015 Veteran Share Posted March 29, 2015 navigation isn't 3000...but going up to the next model is. not sure what you are looking for for after market....there is a lot. You don't want to add things that cannot be undone. radio isnt exactly a deal breaker when selling the car, but if it has steering wheel controls with integrated bluetooth you may want to consider holding off. Lights are no big deal. Performance mods usually hurt the price. If you plan on keeping it, it really makes no difference.

Thanks in advance So, you bought a new car that you dont like, and are now contemplating spending more money to make it something you do like, did I get that correct ? Why didn't you just get a decent car in the 1st place ? No matter what you do to it, it wont be unique - it will be just like every other teenagers modded Honda.... I dont know what a new Accord costs these days, havent been a teenager or waiter struggling through college in years - Sry for coming off harsh - I just hate Hondas - they're so cliche
