duoi Veteran Posted April 26, 2015 Veteran Share Posted April 26, 2015 In the very near future, all the Chinese Android sticks are going to suddenly get a legitimate Android TV OS, not just normal Android with a custom launcher. The only thing missing will be a remote with a microphone like on the Nexus player. Although I imagine we'll see Chinese bluetooth ones popping up in the next few months. Will be the same pricing as the normal Android boxes and sticks... so anywhere from $30 to $60 and beyond. I've got a beta version running on my Amlogic device and, while buggy, it still keeps me hopeful. Just letting you kind folk know.

I like the ability to play Android games and stream media (primary use), but I also never use it. I have so many ways to stream Netflix and Amazon.
