Windows Mobile apps

How many people would have to request an app via Twitter to make it worth a UK company porting their app to Win Phone? There are a couple of apps I'd not want to be without (one banking, which is the real deal-breaker, and one coffee) that aren't available, and with Project Islandwood etc....

Banking apps are a must going forward. I'm not sure requesting that app is going to really make that much of a difference. Either Microsoft will try to work out a deal with the major banks or the banks will have to see a significant market share increase to allocate resources to develop for Windows Mobile.

On the other hand, most UK banks have apps (though not all) and the usual reason for not producing an app is 'lack of demand'...

Ah, my apologies. I now see you said UK banks. U.S. banks have apps too. Usually, iPhone and Android.

IF there's an upswing of people moving to Win10 mobile, maybe, but don't hold your breath, Win Mobile is barely holding on and will likely stay that way for a while
