samg
here are the nics. Port security is now OFF on the 2 ports.
+BudMan MVC Posted May 26, 2015 MVC Share Posted May 26, 2015 That does not tell you what ports those nics are attached too.. Turn it OFF on the switch completely, or validate your using the correct ports, etc. etc..
samg
It's off all together and working now. The ports were correct, I just chased the cables from the server to switch. Anyway, thanks for your help. I don't tend to deal with switches/cisco, so all a little new. I also didn't set this up, so unsure why there is security! +BudMan MVC Posted May 26, 2015 MVC Share Posted May 26, 2015 great to hear. Maybe its you default config. I am like 99.9% sure its not a default setting on the 3750's -- but maybe who set it up loaded a company default config? edit: It can be helpful to not have to chase down cables if you enable cdp in esxi and here is how you can enable lldp as well on standard vswitches. I had it enabled - but looks like when I deployed the last patch it got turned off - something to play with today http://blog.shanonolsson.com/2014/01/03/lldp-and-standard-virtual-switches/
