Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D (Season 3)

Recommended Posts

Compared to 99% of what's available on TV and cable these days - which is an incredible amount of utterly ridiculous crap, by the way - Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. holds its own quite well and is a great show to keep tabs on.

But you can't please everyone, thankfully. ;)

At the Marvel TV panel at Comic-Con International: San Diego 2015 Friday afternoon, Marvel Studios revealed a newcomer to the Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. cast.

Lash, one of the newest Inhumans in the Marvel Comics universe, is joining the cast of the show in some capacity. Marvel TV head Jeph Loeb told the audience at the panel simply that he's "coming," without revealing anything about the character's allegiance or how much he'd be used.

Lash was created in 2014's Inhuman #1 by writer Charles Soule and artist Joe Madureira. A hulking beast of an Inhuman, Lash hails from Orollan, a hidden city of Inhumans who believe the bloodline - and those who get exposed to the Terrigen Mists - must be kept pure (somewhat similar to the city of Inhumans in season 2 of the show). Strong and agile, Lash also has the ability to absorb and expel energy.

There was no word on exactly when he'd come onto the third season of Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., though with the "Secret Warriors" tag and the idea that Skye will be out looking for other powered people (including Inhumans), there should be plenty of opportunity.

Marvel's "Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.": Coulson May Become A Supervillain, Says Clark Gregg

The last time fans saw Director Phil Coulson, he had just brutally murdered Grant Ward in the Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. midseason finale episode, “Maveth.” As the show gets ready to make its midseason return, star Clark Gregg is forced to consider how that moment has changed Coulson.

"I don't think he comes back with any easy answer. I think in the moment, it felt like the only course of action possible to him," Gregg tells TV Guide. "I don't think he's going to know for some time if this was a terrible mistake that changes him and maybe turns him into a super-villain - it becomes, really, a show about a team run by a super-villain - or not."

ABC & Marvel Renew Agents Of SHIELD For 4th Season

ABC and Marvel have just announced that Marvel's Agents of SHIELD will be back for a fourth season.

With the midseason premiere right around the corner and Agent Carter behind us, ABC is taking Coulson and his Agents for another ride in Lola around the Marvel Universe.

It’s a surprising move from the studio to announce a renewal this early. Usually news of these renewals come in May, but with the recent changes at the network including the replacement of Paul Lee with Channing Dungey, it’s a breath of fresh air.

    • If you don't care to read what I said, then you prove my point. Maybe written media is beyond your attention span. Titles are not summaries my friend.
    • Nobody asked... in fact, I said "I don't care about political leanings"
    • TLDR. Here is a far better title (just a basic example): Windows 11 26H2 to allow disabling Web search results
    • Restore will get my vote, only if to see if things are any different, doubt it though but Labour and Conservatives too out of touch and same thing over and over and over…, Lib Dem who?
    • There is nothing wrong with this title. You have completely missed the plot when it comes to "clickbait." The issue was never that a title tries to entice you to click, that is how titles have worked for over 100 years. The issue is when the title subverts expectations, getting you to click expecting something that isn't there. The classic clickbait example is "Boyfriend caught cheating, what happens next will shock you," then what happened next is the girlfriend was upset...which is probably the least shocking outcome imaginable. If sounds like what you want is for the titles to be a collection of 10-word summaries that you can skim, get the just of the story, and only click if you want more details. That is not, never has been, and never will be what titles are. You can go all the way back to print newspapers during the great depression and see the same thing. The newspaper was locked in a vending machine, all you can see is the headline, you choose to put in 5¢ to buy the paper and read the rest if you want. Those headlines were written in a way to sell the paper, not just to provide a summery. Here are two actual headlines from that time, "Wall Street Lays an Egg," or "Stocks Hit Bottom?" Maybe you'd say something like "it was wrong then and it's still wrong now." Okay, fine opinion to have, but it isn't like Neowin is doing something unjurnalistic, they are just following the age-old standards for written media.
