Problem with tile groups in Start Menu

I have a problem rearranging tile groups in my Start menu. On my desktop I can have four columns of medium size tiles as you can see in the picture

 

 

The problem is that on my laptop, Windows doesn't let me have more than 3 medium size tiles in a row, making impossible to have the same arrangement of tiles on both computers. Any suggestion on how to add an additional column to the Start menu on my laptop?

 

Desktop:

Windows 10 10162

1680x1050 (100% dpi)

 

Laptop:

Windows 10 10162

1920x1080 (125% dpi)

They changed the column size in windows 10. If you upgraded from Windows 8 with 4-wide columnts it keeps the original layout. (Supposedly, according to Gabe Aul's Twitter posts.)
