Is there a compact skin option?

Is there any way to get the forum displaying with a more compact skin? Since the upgrade there is so much wasted white space everywhere. Also a the sidebar with user details in is huge, would like a way to make that smaller.

the whole thing is a mess, replying to comments on the front page is terrible with the nested history which you can't break out of, meaning your comment goes in under the last in italics

same here. is there anyway to turn off the giant first post on every freaking page? this is a weird theme

If you're stuck in a quote box, press enter twice or roll under it with your mouse till you see a red line and click on that. The giant first post is because these forums and sub forums are in question mode. Pretty useful if you ask me.

Wait till the upgrade is complete, i can see things that are clearly a bug and not a new thing. Once the devs are happy with the upgrade, then start submitting bugs.

Having played with IPB4, the back end systems seem much leaner and far more scalable. They just seem to have forgotten about the front end stuff

IMO the IPB4 front-end looks much better than IPB3 especially on mobile devices. Admittedly, IP.Board has always had a "white space problem" though.

There will be tweaks done over time to help tighten bits and pieces...

But the fact that there is white space, does not mean it needs to be cluttered with text & buttons...

Neobond didn't make this forum...   Invision Power Services made this forum...  Neobond's devs modified/tweaked the forum as the way they like.

There will be themes to be added in, I hope. For example, dark theme, mobile, etc.

This forum looks crap on phones because there are many overlapping texts all over place.

I can see member titles and post count have fallen underneath the avatars next to posts on small screens. Hope that helps.

It's doing that on mobile ie as well, and I can't turn that stupid mini spy off .

Tons of overlapping  fonts... texts running out of borders..

It's not bad on a 1440p monitor, but the space could be tightened up.

"Vote this answer up" for example could be streamlined into an arrow on the actual post or something. Doesn't need a big sidebar.
