Seahorsepip Veteran Posted August 7, 2015 Veteran Share Posted August 7, 2015 (edited) Even 1gb is enough for most linux distros Though some distros have passed the 1gb size like ubuntu so having 2 gb or more is your best bet. Don't buy a 32gb usb stick for a linux install, it's not worth the money except if you're gonna put windows and multiple linux distros on it(see pendrivelinux.com). I used linux quite a few times for a while but I went back to windows, development and gaming is just easier on windows, I do still use linux sometimes for specific android development with roms and such. Kierax2016
I'll get a stick tomorrow. Even if I put it off for a while, having one would be handy. May spend a few weeks on YouTube learning about LinuxMint which seems to be the distro that best suits me currently.
