McNuttyNutz Posted August 3, 2015 Share Posted August 3, 2015 I have my 3 TB external thats in NTFS ... well on my macbook i can only read not write . how can i have read and write of the drive without formatting the drive ? iGandalf Posted August 5, 2015 Share Posted August 5, 2015 OS X by default can only read NTFS you can install 3rd party software like Paragon to use NTFS read/write but it can be iffy you should reformat the drive to use ExFat or Fat32 instead Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
