Hello i'm asking because it'll be the third one I have to buy, wont't bore you with the stupid details :)

I Have a FX8350 and a R9 290, currently have a Cooler master 550 (which ain't watts, the pos) but my pc shuts off whenever something intensive is going on, be it gaming or even watching video sometimes, shuts off, no bsod, only error 41 on the event log.

Anyway going back to the PSU, i see it's gold cert, I wont overclock or crossfire, and it's well within my buget. any advice is welcomed thanks in advance.

I also have a Pixxo 800w, and still shuts off I run a recent game on high settings, otherwise the pc can run for days just fine.

I know the pixxo is crap, that's why I want to buy a good one, but was burned with the 550

Every component is 3-4 months old, no dust no overheat, OS is clean win 10 install

It might not your PSU but going with a 650W new PSU might be the only way to find out.

Thermaltake Toughpower models are good.http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817153198

What motherboard do you have?
