The Movie Quotes Game 2: Big, Badder, Uncut!

Recommended Posts

I guess no one could figure my quotes out huh? LOL!

The long quote was from Dr. Strangelove or How I Learned To Love The Bomb

The short quote was from Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind (excellent movie and Jim Carrey did a great job!)

"I never knew my birth parents. There was a car accident....my birth mother was incinerated, and I only survived because her smoking carcass had formed a protective cocoon of slaughtered human effluence. A belgian man and his 15 year old love slave with webbed feet were looting the accident scene, when they came across a blood soaked baby, moi, and raised me to be evil. You know, very Norman Rockwell."

Dr. Evil, Austin Powers: The Spy Who Shagged Me.(?)

"Good Morning. In less than one hour, aircraft from here will join others from around the world. And you will be launching the largest aerial battle in the history of mankind. Mankind, that...that word should have new meaning for all of us today. We can't be consumed by our petty differences anymore. We will be united in our common interest. Perhaps it's fate that today is the 4th of July. And you will once again be fighting for our freedom. Not from tyranny, oppression, or persecution, but from annihilation. We're fighting for our right to live. To exist. And should we win the day, the 4th of July will no longer be known as an American holiday, but as the day when the entire world declared with one voice, 'we will not go quietly into the night,' 'we will not vanish without a fight! We're going to live on! We're going to survive!" (Last line omitted, as it's a dead giveaway to the movie's title :) )

Is that Firefox (1982) with Clint Eastwood?

Yep. :) Actually, used twice. Once, when it was actually said, then when Clint Eastwood remembers it just before launching the rear-firing missile against the 2nd FireFox.

New one:

"Oh, there's nothing amazing about it, I know this ship like the back of my hand."
