Congratulations on the upgrade, the forums are now even WORSE than before!

Either you can't reply, or if you quote and edit, and click submit, you get your post wiped and the error "This field is required".

Don't you lot ever actually TEST things?

EDIT: All works fine for me. Have you cleared your cache?

Yes, and it's done it on 2 different PC's, too.

Issue with the browser? Are you using the same browser on each machine? What about any common extensions?

I'm on Chrome 44 with no extensions and I can't replicate the issue.

Chrome 44 with AdBlock & AdBlock plus installed. Neowin is whitelisted at home, but NOT whitelisted when I'm at work as I can't take the risk of iffy ads appearing when at work.

Note. The issue is intermittent. Sometimes it's fine.. others, it's not.

Loads of people reported this problem last night in the update thread including myself, i was getting it randomly on Chrome for Android.

Issue seems to be with the rich text control not loading properly.  It's hiding the input box/textarea, but not rendering itself.

CTRL+F5 sorted it, but when it did work, the first time it worked took about half a second to render and catch up with itself.

Any new major changes will require a few seconds of loading time. The cache needs to be refreshed, thus why the site runs smoother afterwards.

I know, I have been a web developer for over 15 years back and front end.  The time noted was noted because it's useful to know at what stage the lag is.

I feel this is one of the most ironic comments I've ever seen. Thanks for the chuckles, Nik.

    • How does it compare to the "SeeStar S30 Pro" and the "Vespera PRO 2"?
    • Indeed. And note that those units are MUCH cheaper than this new Steam Machine...ahem.
