Since a couple of days I get the message when (re)booting my computer "A program is trying to access e-mail address information stored in Outlook. If this is unexpected, click Deny and verify your antivirus software is up-to-date."
It's not listed which program though. I have already uninstalled some "possible suspects" (like e.g. iCloud and so on) but this didn't help.
In the startup item was an entry called "Program", but disabling this still gives me this pop-up.
I ran a complete anti-virus scan and my computer is clean. Also Malwarebytes states my computer is okay.
How can I figure out - because the message isn't telling me - which program is trying to access my Outlook?
I have Office 365 installed on a Windows 10 machine.
Of course I can allow this "program", but which one? And what does it do?
Bad News: Although it has been about 10 years ago, I have purchased a "Sold and Shipped by Amazon" SanDisk USB drive that was counterfeit. They exchanged it no problem.
Use the utility Jim K referenced above and you will know for sure if something is not legit.
