Which program causes: "A program is trying to access e-mail address information stored in Outlook."?

Question

Since a couple of days I get the message when (re)booting my computer "A program is trying to access e-mail address information stored in Outlook. If this is unexpected, click Deny and verify your antivirus software is up-to-date."

It's not listed which program though. I have already uninstalled some "possible suspects" (like e.g. iCloud and so on) but this didn't help.

In the startup item was an entry called "Program", but disabling this still gives me this pop-up.

I ran a complete anti-virus scan and my computer is clean. Also Malwarebytes states my computer is okay.

How can I figure out - because the message isn't telling me - which program is trying to access my Outlook?

I have Office 365 installed on a Windows 10 machine.

Of course I can allow this "program", but which one? And what does it do?

I tried several things: uninstalling KIS2016 and all Outlook Com Add-ins.

After reboot the annoying messages still keeps on going strong.

Which program is causing this?

After closing Outlook this message appears...

Also the blue circle is running/spinning like crazy and Outlook is pretty much non-responsive...

Hello,

You mentioned KIS2016, so I'm guessing you are a Kaspersky customer?  I would suggest contacting their technical support at http://www.kaspersky.com/nl/support and asking them for assistance in checking the computer.  It could be some new piece of malware as-yet undetected by them.

Now start installing your programs slowly just in case this happens again you can pin point the program causing it.

    • Doing that has only worked for me with the Enterprise version.
    • I like Neowin a lot, but this "article" is shady and misleading. We need an "editorial" flag and this isn't "news" it's "my cousin's dog's best friend posted on twitter about their snapchat account from their dog's owner that a bad thing happened, so it's NEWS." Thanks
    • Burrrrn. Bought COD WWII last month when it was on sale for PC. Oh well. Excellent game tho, and the PC version plays/looks amazing (and has it's own PC achievements). ...wondering if this is a lesson on waiting on sales. ...also hoping Rise of the Tomb Raider has it's own PC Achievements
