When I get a notification of say a quote, I get directed to the thread but not to the actual quote.

I have noticed this as well, it gets you to the page, but not the actual quote or like.

works for me too, but I will need to test it when a quote notification comes in (general ones work ok) and is this on main, forum or both?

It's happened a few times to me.

 

Using Chrome 50.x.x / FireFox 46.0.1

Yep, thanks it went straight to the quote.

 

For people following, The Random 2016 pics thread also doesn't always go to the first unread post, it's a bit flaky like that

That's where I notice it the most.

could it be something to do with the pictures loading

 

so for example it will go to the quote

 

as the pics load it will push the page down?

As it is a notification issue, (and not to have half a dozen threads about it)

On win 7 using ie and ff (latest version, addons enabled or disabled) the notification pop up will sometimes just minimise itself,

does the same thing on my w10 laptop edge and ff

(if I get a chance, I'll try to screenshot)
