Hey b0se this theme is amazing, I tried your Opus Luna .. that one was really good too, but I seriously like this one more.

I love the "Blue" on this it looks great! :)

not really feeling the "Deep".. but everyone has different opinions. I just want to ask how come when I try the "deep", and I go to my music folders, it shows a little picture on the bottom right of the screen, and it does the same with my video folder.. shows a little video picture on the bottom right of the screen, I really like that feature, but why doesnt those little pictures show up when I use the Blue"

anyways keep it up man!

If you remember, I mentioned a new colour long ago in the beta. Well, spook (practically) hit the nail on the head with one of his recolours, which I was quite surprised about!

Here it is, named Deep

Yay or nay?

Yay methings! :D Damn nice to use, my favourite by far tbh.

hahah, damn, i was close :p

nice colour scheme ;)

Bukaroo, have toy changed the size of the icons? I tested for both small and large and never got that problem....

Anyone else get it?

Thanks for the comments!

PSiBER: That should happen with all schemes, they are all based off the blue shellstyle...

It is a lot fainter ithe blue theme, you sure you looked hard enough? :)

I do not have Nero 6 so nothing I can do about that I'm afriad!

 When I figured out how to patch XP to accept unsigned vs - it turned out to be a blessing and a curse.

I love variety and I'm happy to take a break from default Luna. But I'm also way too anal and picky when it comes to the vs that I use. So many offerings I find are indeed eye candy at first glance. But after a walk around the block, real annoying lapses begin to show up. I know that these work of art are offered pro bono and I shouldn't complain. But why does it seem like some authors are just not that concerned with whether or not you'll actually be able to read text through some of their fancy buttons, active/inactive Title Bars and hilighted menus? Why can't I have function and eye candy?

Well, today is Christmas all over again! I found Opus OS 1.5. Here's a guy who paid close attention to the details (sure not flawlessly but then who among us poor mortals is perfect?) and was able to magically weave a masterful visual style that is absolutely a pleasure to look at. My desktop will never be the same. Opus OS 1.5 now shares a special place in my esteem with a another fine vs by Brewman. With respect to Reluna, well I don't know who borrowed what from whom - whatever. I can say, Mr. b0se, that you did it better.

Thanks guys :)

See you in a bit!

Armlann has nearly finished the Trillan Pro skins - they are amazing! He's even made a whole new icon theme for it...

I'll be checking DT2 for any updates, and I'll post a link here. Unless someone finds it before I do :)

Take care all!

Ross

    • Waymo recalls self-driving software after cars enter closed freeway work zones by Paul Hill Waymo, the self-driving car maker owned by Alphabet – the parent company of Google –, has recalled some of its fifth-generation Automated Driving Systems (ADS). It did so after some of its cars drove through closed construction zones. According to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA), the affected vehicles were capable of driving through a closed freeway construction zone and continuing to drive at speed. The listing on the NHTSA website says that Waymo is currently developing a solution to fix this issue, but in the meantime, freeway driving is being restricted. Waymo will update its ADS software so that vehicles can detect when they can avoid entering construction zones. According to the Safety Recall Report, on April 20, 2026, Waymo’s Field Safety Committee began meetings reviewing an event from April 11, 2026, and five events from April 19, 2026, where Waymo’s autonomous vehicles didn’t recognize and drove past ramp closure signs into the pre-planned freeway construction zones. This took place in Phoenix, Arizona. Separately, on May 18, 2026, seven Waymo vehicles entered freeway lanes with active construction in the San Francisco Bay Area by driving between cones that were placed to show the lane was closed. On the back of both of these events, Waymo restricted freeway driving until it could address the issue. In June, Waymo’s Safety Board reviewed the issue and additional information related to ADS performances around construction zones; then, as a result, it decided to conduct a recall. This development is not good for Waymo as it adds to a growing list of technical hiccups its cars have experienced. Ultimately, it will lead to more scrutiny from lawmakers around the world who will be more cautious about letting autonomous vehicles on their roads without tighter regulation. For readers in areas where Waymo operates, does this news make you more wary about stepping into one of these vehicles?
