They didn't say "exclusive to Xbox and Windows 10" just "coming to Xbox and Windows 10".

I'm not 100% but that probably distingushes the Windows 10 Store. But DR3 came to Steam, and is playable on Win7 etc.

list says 201X. what if its 2016?

They surely wouldn;t have bothered with an XBox One S

You may be right there.

Doubt they'd nerf the Xbox S chances like that. We'll see!

Also doubt the 6 TFLOPS deal would be ready this year.

Nope, didn't show you what it looks like.

Because it won't even be built yet. Hardware is in preliminary stages.

If they could show you what it was like it wouldn't be 1.5 years away.

That was never going to happen though.

Looks like we're all right though, the future of consoles is incremental hardware updates without sacrificing backwards compatibility.

Decent conference, but damn that leak list hurt it.

Scorpio announcement while good to clear up rumours is very early and hard to get all that excited about. It's a while off. IMO no point in buying an Xbox S, original One owners should just hold off till next years E3 and hope for full specs and prices of Scorpio.

Seems like a tactical announcement to try and dampen the Neo release this year (as specs will be lower).

Crackdown being MIA was strange.

Better start saving...

There's enough time, and they only said 2017, not holiday 2017, it could be next Spring, or in the summer, like July.    At least they're going to give developers time to play with it.

That's my plan really. All depends on the details and release but i'd hate to grab an XB1S (lol) now just to have to replace it in a couple of years.

Yeah not sure why anyone would buy the S unless they discontinued the original.

    • Nvidia is your issue more so than linux itself. I did used it for a while with an old 1060 3gb, but using propietary drivers was kind of messy.

    • The current Statcoungter desktop numbers has Google Chrome increasing it's market share this past year and currently commanding 75% share. Everybody else is just making up the numbers with even MS Edge losing 3% this past year and has dipped just below 10% share which is staggering considering it's default on every Windows deviced purchased. If these numbers are correct that terrible Edge number is both devastating and embarrassing for MS especially when you add in the terribly low Bing market share. This leads me to ask a couple of questions as the default browser holding just less than 10% market share seems really weird. It used to be that all Chromium browsers were being counted as Google Chrome in some cases.  Is this still happening? Do these high Google Chrome numbers contains some Edge user numbers?
