You guys need to reel your ads in. This is getting ridiculous.

I just got redirected to the App Store. No graphic, the ad was a white image and a thin border. This was the url it used to redirect. The next time this happens, I'm throwing up an ad blocker for here.

Exactly why I don't use my phone or tablet to ever browse Neowin, but then I have Firefox and ublock origin installed on those, so it wouldn't matter anyway, but is pretty sad that you're practically forced to use an adblocker here.

I have problems like this on my Lumia 1520. This website automatically redirects to some random ads site which is very annoying. Turns out its the problem with my internet connection itself. The popup doesn't show when I use VPN on my Lumia 1520.

This website works great on my Android, which I set them with custom DNS. Windows Phone doesn't have that option. Well seems like VPN is the only solution (for WP)

Edit: this problem not only occurs on Neowin, but news site like Mirror, The Guardian, and Bleacher Report too.

This problem isn't exclusive to Neowin, even my account manager says she gets it on other sites she frequents. I am just a bit tired of the fact they aren't being taken care of. I made this clear on email today

Ads are still disabled on Mobile, except when our primary advertiser has a direct campaign (which are paid more for, and definitely aren't redirects or junk ads) Thanks for letting us know!
