Windows Phone App for sending/receiving SMS using PC

Any Nokia old set like Nokia C3 + PC Suite + Bluetooth = sending and receiving SMS while your phone is in your pocket.

 

Looking for same in Windows Phone, how can I do it?

I think 'Messaging Anywhere' in newer Windows 10 Builds aiming for this.

I think you can do it via Cortana if you have it available and enabled on both your Windows PC and phone.

 

E.g. "hey Cortana, send message to <name>..."

Yes Cortana works for this, need it on the phone and computer, i think it only works with the anniversary update though.

You can do it through Skype these days using the SMS bridge (has to be enabled in the Skype app on W10M). After doing it you can send SMS messages from any Skype application using your phone as the bridge/connection. It works like Apple's iMessage.
