Z3r0
I can't access that website http://www.tbreak.com/hard/grfx/msi_gf4mx4...x440/page1.html to see the specs.... if someone can copy/paste for me plz, thx Gainward GeForce4 Ti-4600 128mb VIVO DVI TwinView - Available to pre-order now priced @ ?323.12 inc.VAT (inc. Because they seem to run at significantly lower clock s:(eds :( My gf2 GTS specs (creative) Feature Description Graphics Architecture 256-bit Onboard Memory 32MB DDR RAM at 333MHz RAMDAC 350MHz AGP 4X with Fast Write Yes Peak Fill Rate (Pixels/Sec) 800 million Triangles Per Second (Peak Rate) 25 million Integrated T & L Engine Yes 3D Rendering Pipelines 4 Texture-Mapped, Lit Pixels Per Clock Cycle
syscrash2k
dont worry... i think the original gf3 ran at a lower clock than the gf2ultra too..
Khujo
The Geforce4MX 440 performs with in a few frames of the geforce2 ti, some tests were faster and some tests a bit slower. There for its safe to say that with the MX420s slow memory speed and single data rate ram it will have performace on par with the Geforce2MX400 with the same memory constraints and bottlenecks. The faster MX cards do perform better but it looks like the best deal in the bunch will be the Ti4200 which is still faster then a Geforce3 ti500 and is only supposed to cost $200. http://www.tomshardware.com has a nice article with benchmarks on the new cards.
