+Kyle Subscriber¹ Posted August 23, 2016 Subscriber¹ Share Posted August 23, 2016 We have a built in user account in our domain that I believe is a legacy account from when we had a Windows NT domain before all of our upgrades. The username is "Replicate" and it is a member of the usergroup "Replicators" and unfortunately is also a Domain Admin. Our domain has multiple domain controllers at different locations so I am a little afraid to pull the trigger on disabling the account or even changing the password as I am afraid it will cause our domain to break. Do any of you have the Replicate user and if so is yours active? I can't seem to find it in any logs...
sc302 Veteran Posted August 23, 2016 Veteran Share Posted August 23, 2016 you can disable...I would disable and not delete. See if anything fails. Replicator is a group, not a user. It is not a member of anything and nothing is a member of it. +Kyle 1 Share
