British athletes were happy with their matching suitcases until they arrived at the airport

The British Olympic team won a lot of medals in this year’s Games, but they still had to face one last challenge, and in the most unlikely place — their home. The reason for this was someone’s ’brilliant’ idea to provide all the athletes with matching red suitcases and bags.

The Olympians, though, accepted the situation, as can be seen from their reaction in social networks, and they treated it with humour and truly British coolness. We at Bright Side sincerely hope that the UK team won’t have such confusion with their medals.

’Anyone seen my red bag?’

’Mine’s the red one!’

A giant game of find-your-luggage. Looks like fun!

’Finding my bag could prove more challenging than the racing.’

They made it, however, and they were ’treated like royalty’ by British Airways.

Nothing is wrong with matching luggage ... but dang ... you gotta put something on it so you know it's yours.  Learned that through three deployments....where matching "luggage" were duffel bags and other gear.

Maybe they'll learn for next time. :)

I took the velcro off one of my name tapes and sewed it onto the side of my duffel bag; so mine was the only green duffel bag with an ACU pattern name tape sewed onto the side, :p

    • Ridiculous claim that the labor cost difference of $6000 annually would increase cost per phone by $200. The employees produce 3 phones per month or what?

    • And I just bought a seat cushion for my mesh chair. The chair feels nice but the first time I sat in it with boxers, I realized I don't like the feel of mesh on my legs. 😂
