Loved this 4th episode. Probably the best among the 4 to me. Looking forward for the next one.

I've got a possible theory after watching this one.

Spoiler

Recovering pieces of memory does not seem to be the part of the 'new update'. The toy of the Indian girl which Maeve was interested and the general stories about them which seems to be prevalent among the Indians seem to tell that the hosts (or some of them) knew the existence of park authorities much earlier because they have seen them, pretty much how Maeve came to know of them.

Spoiler

Also I am very interested in Bernard and what he wants to achieve through Dolores. I believe he is using Theresa for something.

I am really liking this show. Ed Harris is really good as the MiB.

I kinda think they've given him Yul Brynner's role, The Gunslinger, and then turned it on its head to make him a rogue human instead of a rogue robot.

Oooohhh snap!... twist alert.

Spoiler

Had a hunch he wasn't human though. I wonder if Ford is building a replacement of the woman(forget her name) he killed.

I was wondering about Bernard particularly when Ford said he had a "sensitive disposition."

The  theory that some stories (Will and the guy dressed in black) not happening at the same time is shaping up even more, anybody recognized the lady that the man in black "saved" in tonight's episode?

It was the same host that helped Will get dressed up when he got to Westworld

Yeah, cause hosts have never been assigned to different roles, ever, and it's impossible for MiB to have seen her anywhere else. /s

People are too obsessed with this theory, just let it play out.

It's not that, it's the fact that MiB said

Spoiler

"I thought they would have retired you by now,"

I honestly think that:

Spoiler

William = MiB, and Dolores = Wyatt. She killed Arnold in the accident that was the "incident" in the park 30 years ago. The maze isn't a place, it's a higher level of feeling and memories. I think MiB helped Dolores discover this by hurting her in the barn, the same way he did with Maeve by killing her child

He's been visiting the park for 30 years. There's nothing to suggest he didn't meet her in other circumstances or that she's been reactivated recently before the Wyatt plot came about. Regardless, with the way the plot is built, everything can be red herrings or plot twists straight from the writers' asses. The plot right now has not reached a coherent state and hinges too much on fan theories.

BTW, Wyatt was a guy in Teddy's flashbacks.

Anyone notice the picture that jerk guy gave William?

Spoiler

It was the same photo Dolores' Dad found that glitched him out.

I was mad they killed Bernard, I liked that actor & character. Maybe we'll still see him as Arnold in flashbacks though.

This show is amazing, finally caught up. Seriously this cast deserves some awards.
I was starting to wonder if they would reveal Arnold this week and was not disapointed haha

Loved the show!

I kinda wish they had added a tangent about someone visiting the park, and then

returning to the "real world". As someone who has been to war multiple times

and is well aware that I did not come back the same (PTSD, etc), I'm curious

how they would have handled it on the show.

Imagine going someplace where you get used to (for example) just shooting

or stabbing someone for getting on your nerves, or raping whatever woman

suits your mood. And then returning home. Would you be able to shut down

the impulse? Would a person's cries or pleas for mercy stimulate your moral

compass the same as before you visited the park? I love shows that bring up

those types of questions.
