Looks good.  The only thing I would change is the B series chipset to the Z series.  I don't think you can overclock your 6600k using a B150 chipset.  I could be wrong about that though.

Looks good, but as other said, spend a few extra and upgrade to a better motherboard

Do you really need another sound card? The motherboard has built in sound.

Depends on how much he is into sound. The X-Fi I have is much better than the one that is built into the motherboard.

so this board for example?

Yep.  And if you're into music or sound, get the dedicated sound card.  It does make a difference.

Well define "into music or sound"

If ripping, or editing - then yeah get the card.
If you have high end speakers or Ultrasone headphones - yeah get the card.

If one is "into sound" yet has a $99 speakers, or thinks beats by Dre headphones are awesome... :/

How about, "If you want something much better than on-board, get the card."  There ya go.

True - I was just pointing out the common fail of spending money to get  some fancy add on card and pluggin up $99 speakers to them thinking "wow this card was worth the money !"

Im just being negative - just ignore me :/

Or, just use an external receiver and skip all that fun with drivers.

(Though actually when win10 was new there was still plenty of fun with drivers on my box.)

Hello,

A good quality thermal paste might be useful (Arctic Silver 5, Antec Formula 7, etc.).
