markus1204
Hi all, I am new to this site and would like to say hello....also I was wondering if someone could offer me assistance, I have a shared folder with hundreds of subfolders and I made an exact copy of this with ROBOCOPY /mir, now after several weeks I would like to compare the two shares and list or copy only the changed / new files from the active share... Any help is appreciated. Mark
Dick Montage
Doesn't xcopy have a comparison function? And welcome
markus1204
Xcopy can allow copy files after a certain date but not a comparison, what I did was I made a backup of my users shared folders and remapped there home folders to the new share, now I want to copy over all files from one to the other but not including duplicates....hope that helps explain a bit more. norseman
Maybe give Robocopy Gui a shot. It has a nice little interface and does what you're asking. http://funk.eu/robocopy-gui/
