Macbook Air 2016. Should I order it now or should I wait Black Friday/Cyber Monday?

Wasup neowinians! My cousin wants a MB Air 2016. It's going to be the super basic model. The device won't be used beyond plain text editing and Netflix. I've just seen that the device is @ $880 on Amazon (Latest model). Based on your experience, do you think that I would get a better deal on Cyber Monday or Black Friday, considering that the MSRP is $1,000?

Just found out eBay may have it at $787 in Cyber Monday.

There is no such thing as Macbook Air "2016". The last refresh was what Apple refers to as "Early 2015." I would highly advise against buying this computer - it's an old design based on older technology. There are much better deals to be had at that price range (especially non-Mac)

The MacBook Air is dead.. not recommended to buy it. re-mortgage your house and get the new 13" MPB which is it's replacement
