Commenting on News articles is messed up

I've had this happen several times now, most recently on this article:

I'll make a comment (in this case a reply to REM2000), and that'll post fine. I'll then go on to make another post, in this case a general response to the main article, but it will just repeat the contents of first post I made. Even if I try and edit the post to put the correct text in, it still posts the original response.

 

I'm running Windows 10 (1607), and Chrome 54 on my home PC, but this has happened on multiple computers with similar settings.

It's a bug we know about and will get fixed very soon. In the mean time, if you want to post multiple comments on an article, you'll need to reload the page in between to avoid this happening (annoying I know, we'll get to is ASAP)

This should now be fixed - you'll need to reload (and maybe clear your cache) to get the new javascript

Thanks for that, Dave! Super annoying as the last comment I made had an embedded tweet in it, and there was absolutely no way to delete it
