Does anyone know the status of the Windows patch CD. Has it been canceled, since they decided to continue supporting 98 & Me?

Well, my computer seems very contented with this update.

Already had the new Defrag, it's super-fast.

Long ago had IE surgically removed, so I can't comment on that.

I don't think you need to install the latest versions of that stuff. Otherwise, it would have it in the system requirements.

IE, DirectX and MediaPlayer is only recommendation, they are not required to apply this pack. According to counter, ~2000 people have downloaded the pack. I have not got any negative feedback. Final pack will be ready soon.

Only some minor bugs fixed. If you installed Beta 2, I recommend you should install final pack without uninstalling Beta 2.
