I'm looking for some help with regards to a "Disconnected Network Drive" which has appeared under "This PC" and how to remove it. I do not have any network drives setup on this computer, nor has there been any in the past.

When choosing "Disconnect" from the context menu it provides the following error:

Capture3.PNG

And when you simply try to access it, I receive the following error:

Capture2.PNG

Net Use commands did not help to remove the drive and I am unable to hide it with a registry tweak.

Any advice how I can remove it? TIA

Windows 10x64 (1607 - 14393.693), all updates applied

I resolved my issue by creating a registry key under HKEY_CURRENT_USER to hide it. It might be possible I created the first key under LOCAL MACHINE by mistake.

If you want to hide it, open regedit and navigate to HKEY CURRNET USER > Software > Microsoft > Windows > Current Version > Policies. Create a new DWORD, name it NoDrives and enter the corresponding decimal value for the driver letter:

A:=1

B:=2

C:=3

etc etc
