Modern equivalent to DVD Shrink?

Does anyone know of a free, modern equivalent to DVD Shrink? All I'm looking for is something that will compress a DVD9 to DVD5 format.

Handbrake is able to rip dvd's and is one of the best video converters I know.

DVDFab was the next best thing, but it's not free. (Worth it though)

Thanks, but Handbrake lack the ability to compress a DL DVD to burn onto a SL DVD.
