I just read an interview of Adam McElhaney who actually is behind the movement of buying internet history of the senators and other big guys who approved/initiated the repealing of US broadband privacy rules!

here's his vision about what's going to happen next to users' privacy, not only in the US but in the whole world:

"PureVPN(interviewer): Since other countries look up to the US, what do you think will be the impact of Broadband Privacy Bill on other nations?

Adam(interviewee). Other countries will follow suit. Or are we following other countries? Some countries like Turkey severely limit the freedoms we so take for granted. Seeing the USA do the same thing only reaffirms their commitment to spying and loss of privacy.

When the USA erodes the protections of its citizens, are we not sending a message to countries that look to us for guidance that it is ok to remove civil liberties?"
