I am wondering if anyone here could help me out. I am dealing with a Windows Server 2012R2 box that is used for AD, DNS, file server and recently have Volume Activation Services installed. I have no issues with getting a KMS key for Microsoft Office 2016 installed (after downloading and installing SW_DVD5_Office_Professional_Plus_2016_W32_English_KMS_MLF_X20-42865.iso from VLSC).
Getting Windows 10 Enterprise 2016 going is a different story. My research shows that I needed a "Windows Srv 2012R2 DataCtr/Std KMS for Windows 10". So I went and emailed VLSC to get the required key. I then put that key into the server and it activated just fine.
Thinking that I got everything sorted I went to activate our first computer that has Windows 10 Enterprise 2016 installed and I am getting the following error (I tried doing this 2 different ways):
Could someone please tell me if I have missed something while setting the KMS host up?
Thank you
PS I haven't tried to activate Office 2016 yet as I don't know if I have the KMS host set up correctly. Also the computer is on the domain - if that makes any different.
