ESC@PE
That will house the latest and greatest mobo & processor? Ok, It doesn't have to be THE smallest thing out there but close enough to the smallest case possible is cool. And all it'd need space for inside (aside from key components (RAM, Power source, etc) is a 2.5inch SSD. Thanks for any advice/suggestions! Mindovermaster Moderator Posted May 19, 2017 Moderator Share Posted May 19, 2017 Any reason you need a small case? I want it mid-size, so I can have room inside.
Astra.Xtreme
I built a PC with this case a couple years ago: https://www.bitfenix.com/global/en/products/chassis/phenom-micro-atx/ You can fit whatever CPU you want as long as the mobo is micro-ATX. I have a GTX 980 Classified in mine, so it will have plenty of room for a GPU. I also have a M.2 SSD (clicks into the mobo), which I highly recommend. I have a closed loop liquid cooler on my CPU and the only fan in my case is the radiator fan. Very little noise when loaded down. It's really really small and packs a ton of power. If you want something small and minimal, I highly recommend that case. Dick Montage 1 Share

Space constraints, HTPC, more visually appealing, the list can go on and on, etc. Not everyone needs a ton of room in a case, especially if it gets tucked away and rarely upgraded. 44 minutes ago, Jim K said: Fractal Design - Define Nano S Mini ITX ? I vote this, FD cases are slick.

Reason I "asked"... I didn't say "you don't need a small case".

I gave input, that is all. No need to try and read between the lines. Dick Montage 1 Share

Just so it doesnt take up a lot of space, really. Small to smaller-midsize would work fine.
