news Default news view set back to summary (list) view

You may have noticed that the default view for the news site has changed from the "grid" view to a "list" view.

 

 

I am currently in the US for a Neowin shareholders meeting between the three owners of the site, me, @Frogboy (Brad Wardell) and @Redmak (Marcel Klum) and one of the things that came up is about the readability of Neowin (and other sites) as well as the behavior when scrolling past news. It was decided that the majority  wanted list view, so that's what we did.

 

 

As well as being able to see the two stories fully in list view vs grid, you can still select the "old way" by selecting the view option next to "Submit News Tip" even guests can select these view options, which should make it less painful for those that prefer the other view.
