Nintendo's NES Classic Edition is coming back in 2018

Rachel England

Despite announcing it was game over for the NES Classic Edition earlier this year, Nintendo now says that due to demand, it plans to ship the product into 2018. Shipment timings are yet to be announced, but this is big news for fans who thought they were going to miss out after the console began disappearing from store shelves.

Continues...

Good news if you missed out on it previously (Y) Nintendo also announced larger shipments for the Super SNES in the US, too.

Maybe that'll mean those sellers who charge way too much will have to put their prices down for a while.

Hopefully it'll stop them altogether! It's shame for those that really wanted to buy and play on this, and not just take advantage of the resell value.

Whilst that would be ideal. Nintendo would have to somehow limit the amount a person can buy, and as we know Nintendo hasn't done a good job of that so far.

I can't speak for Nintendo, but I know in the UK eBay were removing these from their site and Amazon were cancelling orders of more than 1. Just need ole Nintendo to do the same.

That's a good start. I imagine that's where most of those sellers come from, so maybe there's more hope than I expected.

With features like HTTPS Everywhere and built-in tracker blocking, Brave keeps your online activities safe from prying eyes. Brave is one of the safest browsers on the market today. It blocks third-party data storage. It protects from browser fingerprinting. And it does all this by default. Speed - Brave is built on Chromium, the same technology that powers Google Chrome, and is optimized for speed, providing a fast and responsive browsing experience. Brave Browser also features Brave Rewards, a system that rewards users with Basic Attention Tokens (BAT) for viewing opt-in ads. This innovative system provides an alternative revenue model for content creators and a way to support the Brave community. SlimBrave Neo takes all the good things about Brave and makes them even better by keeping everything clean, light, and privacy-focused. It removes the extra clutter, turns off features you might not need, and cuts down on anything that could slow you down or collect unnecessary data. Because it relies on simple settings and policies instead of modifying the browser itself, you still get full Brave compatibility—just in a smoother, lighter, and more privacy-friendly package. Brave Browser 1.91.178 changelog: Fixed certain extensions not working as expected. (#56271) Fixed inability to use Brave Sync in certain cases. (#55203) Upgraded Chromium to 149.0.7827.196.
