Weird HP UK keyboard but with US shaped keys! WTF?

Have HP invented a new layout for UK keyboards?  Photo: https://imgur.com/a/OcX2C

The keyboards have the £ key but the return key is horizontal and the right Ctrl key is now a backslash.  They look like US shaped keyboards with UK key stickers.

We’re getting complaints from our customers.

It looks like HP have started using this keyboard and are just applying UK key stickers.

That is extremely similar to the keyboards we received in 2015 with the desktop refresh. The only difference that I can see, is that it has the slim horizontal Enter/Return key as opposed to a double height one.
