deep1234
Hello guys, I am testing a lot Linux VMs in virtualbox. But what really bugs me is when I need to edit a text file on the server, I have to use vim to do using SSH from the console. A lot people online think it is easy, but I don't like much. Which as a result, I install GUI on the server (MATE or KDE) just to use gedit or kwrite. For this I am asking if there is a way that I can SSH using console, with editing the text file using the text editor that is running on my Linux desktop. Without the need to install GUI on the server and waste unnecessary space and processing power. Thanks,
