Off the top of my head, one film where she did decent acting was 'Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam', though I'd say the film was a hit partly because of Ajay Devgan.

yes, but again it is the same director. And he has spent a lot of time getting her to act a certain way. He is a very picky director and had to really coach it out of her. If you look at the movies where Sanjay was not involved they have been all flops. By ordinary standards she is not much of an actor. If the director can really work it out of her, she will do fine.

If they did.. then tats the worst movie Aishwarya has acted in.. :D ok ok.. apart from other even-more-crap movies like Albela or Hum Kisise Kam Nahin... Btw Aish @ Bond Girl.. dont think its much of any honor to India... last heard.. she wont agree for a body-double! :p

so she gonna strip ? or is this gonna be a bond movie without...<ahem> :laugh:

Wow..an indepth discussion on Aiswariya rai on neowin..almost surreal! :D I don't watch indian movies much, if at all, but I seriously doubt she could get along in a Bond film though :/ The only good thing 'might' be seeing her in thongs or somethign along those lines :laugh: but that'll be about it IMO.

She is working with a famous actress in Pride and Prejudice being shot in UK/US and another English movie, so i think she does know english.

err.. its Bride and Prejudice :)

directed by Gurinder Chadha of Bend It Like Beckham fame... and think there aint any Holly actress in that movie... but Aishwarya can speak decent and fluent English :yes:
