Internet Security: Kaspersky vs ESET

Question

I'm thinking of switching from KIS to ESET Internet Security

However, the price difference is quite large, so my question is: is it price-wise worth the switch to ESET from KIS?

Or are these two suites quite similar in protection rates, functions and user friendliness (and I can better stick to KIS)?

(I currently have Kaspersky Total Protection installed, but I cannot ignore some recommendations given by the application and they keep showing up (and this annoys me)

Hello,

Both programs offer trial versions.  I'd suggest making use of both, and seeing which one you like best.

Based on the "bloatware" thing of KTS, I decided to go with ESET.

In KTS you are not allowed to ignore the "backup option", "password manager" and : parental advisory" messages. Despite the fact that you, as a user, already have those - or not willing to get these - and are allowed to get on the internet as an 18+ person. Very annoying. And this cannot be turned off.
