ultimate99
I run Win Server 2016 on a laptop for regular daily use. I already have Eset Internet Security, but obviously it will not work on server because they have a dedicated product for servers. However, this is just at home so I don't want to pay a fortune for something like that. Any alternative you'd recommend?

goretsky Supervisor Posted May 25, 2018 Supervisor Share Posted May 25, 2018 Hello, If you are happy with ESET Internet Security you might want to contact the company and ask them if you can convert or otherwise upgrade your license to ESET File Security for Microsoft Windows Server. Regards, Aryeh Goretsky
linettereed
ESET would be best. By the way, Unless you are going to be using files and Internet browsers on the system, Anitivirus is not strictly necessary. goretsky 1 Share
conna
Eset. It works great on 2016 servers (Essentials, Standard, Exchange) I buy in bulk directly from an ESET rep. I honestly don't think I pay anything more for the server version than I do for the desktop versions.. goretsky 1 Share
