Nehemoth
Hi. I'm trying to help a friend to get a laptop on the budget that can run Photoshop well. She was using an old Dell Inspiron until some days ago when a burglar decided that he/she need it more than her. So the budget would be 750US Dollars. As someone who lives in the Caribbean this is a lot of money for a teacher. So I began to looking for laptops with AMD 2500U processor, as I'm under the impression that it could do the job very well BUT I realized a lot of has changed these past few years and I don't know what could be better and let's not talk about the GPU (Vega? or RX?, Nvidia 950? Nvidia 1050? Nvidia 1050TI?). She wants a 15" Display (or bigger) World prefer a 250ish SSD HDD (She has an external drive) but a combination with another Internal HDD would be preferable. Battery shouldn't be a concern as she won't be without power for a long time. She wouldn't mind the design BUT would prefer a non-gamer design. So far, I've found these options [not in particular order] and would like a little help. Acer Aspire 7 A715-71G-71L2 15.6" FHD GTX 1050 Dell Inspiron T8TJG 15" 7567 Acer Aspire17.3 E5-774G Dell Gaming Laptop G3579-5941BLK-PUS G3 15 3579 ASUS M580VD-EB54 VivoBook 15.6" Dell Gaming Laptop - 15" G3579-7989BLK-PUS Acer - Nitro 5 15.6" Thank you in advance, really appreciate it Edited August 19, 2018 by Nehemoth
Mindovermaster Moderator Posted August 19, 2018 Moderator Share Posted August 19, 2018 (edited) Uh, Gaming and Photoshop do not go well with each other. What is she doing with Photoshop? If she is just cropping pictures, you don't need a strong computer to do that.
