anguilla1980
I just bought a VP2468 from Amazon. I have it connected to my SP3 using a min-DP to HDMI cable. I installed the latest signed W10 driver from ViewSonic's website. The entire screen looks a bit hazy. Like the blacks aren't black. The image is perfectly sharp, but the grey'ish blacks especially annoys me. I bought it because of all the great reviews saying how the colors are super accurate for editing. For example what is obviously black on my SP3's screen, is simply dark grey on the ViewSonic. The ViewSonic looks horrible by comparison. White looks fairly white after changing the monitor's color profile from "Native" to "Advanced" on its physical on-screen menu. Any idea what settings I need to look for? I can't use the actual calibration application because I don't have the additional hardware piece. Thanks!
