Starship SN8 test schedule (moved right for winds)

 

Primary Date 1: November 8, 2020

Window: 2000 - 0200 Eastern

 

Primary Date 2: November 12, 2020

Purpose: static fire & 15km flight

Window: 1000 - 1000 Eastern

 

Backup Date: November 13, 2020

Purpose: static fire & 15km flight

Are we expecting an official SpaceX stream tonight, or will they only show the video after the fact?

It's already 20:55 here on central European time, so I'm thinking of just putting on a stream, and hoping it will wake me if something interesting happens. but so far nothing on the SpaceX channel.
I'm watching a LabPadre stream at the moment, but I'm afraid it will not wake me before the actual burn, and that would be a bit late 😛

What are you guys watching?

From what I've read, this was a single raptor firing via the header tank, not all three.

 

Not found anything on the debris being ejected as to whether that was a bad thing or not, speculation is it's just some concrete from the pad.

I'd assume a drone, doing an inspection whilst they de-tank etc and make the pad safe for personnel to come in and check it out properly.

      I like the show more options. The only problem with it is that it's not always in a consistent spot in the menu. If the copy/paste/cut, happens to show on top, then more option is the last in the menu. But if copy/paste/cut happens to show on the bottom, then more options is before the copy/paste/cut. But I do like the more options because it hides the stuff that I rarely use. But I would like to choose what it is or isn't hiding. That would make it better.

      Rescind the stupid "Show more options" in context menus and just give us the full menu instead of adding more steps to get to what we want. The "simpler by default" makes me think they'll go in the opposite direction. Every context menu should have a configure button so you can pick and choose what options should be shown, I know you can do that with some registry fu but that shouldn't be required.
