Xbox Games with Gold & Deals with Gold: November 2018

For me, not so exciting.

I was somehow already aware of Qube 2, it looks beautiful and maybe a bit of a Portal copy so it could be decent. Other than that I doubt I'll ever play any of the others.

Yeah Qube is the one that I'm most looking forward to. Mercenaries was great back in the day so it'll be interesting to see how it holds up today. It was kinda replaced by Just Cause (without the WMDs)

Nothing for me, going to have to finish a few more things before I buy something new, that list isn't for me.

Did you pick anything up during the Black Friday sales?

Unfortunately I was traveling and out of town on black Friday, didn't get anything.

To be honest, I'm sure there will be another sale around Xmas so you'll get another chance if you wanted anything 😛

I finally got some time so I started playing mass effect andromeda on my X, so far I like it, don't know what the hate is about, or maybe it's still early?   Though the game did freeze on me once, which sucked but it was right after a save so I didn't lose any progress, thank god.

A few more titles have been added to the sale. This is part of the Game Award sale. Some titles are better than the regular Deals with Gold.

This week, there aren't any titles that are worth pointing out 😛

I ended up getting Shadow of the Tomb Raider on sale for 35euros, I was tempted to get AC:Origins gold for 50euros but I figure I'll wait on that for a bit more.   I'm a good 74hrs into Mass Effect Andromeda, think I'll finish it tonight, but we'll see, worth the money IMO since I got it on sale as well.

    • I can name 10x that on why not to switch.... It's funny outlook/office are going towards web app wrappers, and then MS is now preaching native apps again.... ugh can we just pick a lane and stay in it
    • Absolutely NOBODY has suggested such a conclusion. I am affirming the sober reality check that AV2's overall market adoption will take longer than AV1's adoption rate -- which, by the way, is the whole point of the article! While PCI-SIG is productive (on paper), other WGs have created all sorts of confusing progress plans that consumers have tuned-out of their improvements... HTML/W3C, USB, HDMI, BT, WIFI (ieee802.11) as a few other groups where spec naming conventions, split progress paths, overlapping ambitions... I'm not critiquing the AV specs group; I'm simply affirming that adoption for AV2 faces headwinds beyond the macroeconomics of it all.
