Nice but I think you need a Broom also.

Hey guys, today I'm going to show you have simple and easy it is to install lighting mods in your system. Ready? Lets get started.

PLEASE MAKE SURE YOU PSU IS UNPLUGGED OR TOGGLED TO THE OFF POSITION BEFORE YOU BEGIN!

Things you will need:

1 or 2 cathodes

1 cathode controller

1 screw driver

double sided sticky tape

1 screw

1 empty PCI slot (not and actual slot just the space for it).

and about 30 minutes time.

Cost

About $20 for a kit with 2 cathodes, 1 controller, 1 panel, + sticky tape.

Picture Explanation:

1) Packaging Front.

2) Packaging Back (15,000 hours life! 1500 / 24 (hours in a day) = 625 days of life or approx. 1.71 years.)

3) Our 2 cathodes.

4) Our controller and our panel.

5) This is how we are going to plug our wires into our controller later on.

6) Things required to get started.

7) Place your panel into the empty desired PCI slot.

8) Secure the panel in place by scewing it in with provided screw or one of your own.

9) This is how it should look after your panel is installed.

10) Find a good place to put your controller inside your case (this can be ANYWHERE) just make sure your cathode wires and power wire is going to reach this unit.

11) Now that we have found a good spot for our controller get your double sided sticky take. It should look like this.

12) Now place the tape in the center or the controller firmly.

13) Plece the controller firmy down in the place your have deceided, it should look something like this. (sorry for the lack of picture, but after this plug in the molex connector (power plug))

14) Place stick tape on the two ends on the cathode just like you did with your controller unit. Then place it in your desired location.

15) Cathode installed on the bottom.

16) Cathode installed on the side.

17) When you are done *and if you used good wire management* you should barely be able to see your new installment. (with the lights on of course :p )

18) This is how it should look with your lights off! :punk:

19) Again

20) And AGAIN! :woot: (now take that bad boy to some LAN Parties and show it off!)

21) VIDEO (277k) of how the cathodes react to sound (with the panel and controller)

Well I hope you guys enjoyed my little guide (I would have placed it in essential guides but it's more of a modders thing). Anyway, good luck and keep on modding and overclocking ;) (Y)

None at all, Its all pretty self contained, you get seal string to put around the cpu housing to keep it all contained, The cooling head runs at about -34 most of the time, The temp diode on this mobo is underneath the cpu http://homepage.ntlworld.com/voodoo.mchale1/Temp.jpg and it tends to keep the cpu well under 0 degrees, Its also fairly quiet :) Definatly recommend getting one.

Here's a few pictures of my rig. It's a Lian Li PC6277B Aluminium Watercooling case (PSU sucks in air from the top, and there's a place for a 120mm radiator in the top too, both covered with a airfilter) I'm gonna mount a 120mm radiator in the top that sucks air in, and one in the rear that sucks air out, both with SilenX 14dB fans. Also have a 11dB SilenX 80mm fan infront of the HDD's that blows air in. 2 Sunbeam 30cm UV Cathodes mounted in top/bottom.

Haven't mounted my watercooling yet, still waiting for my GPU block that is delayed, so the cables and stuff aint really place too nicely..

    • Ocenaudio 3.19.3 by Razvan Serea Ocenaudio is a full featured, fast and easy to use audio and music editor. It is the ideal software for people who need to edit and analyze audio files without complications. Ocenaudio also has powerful features that will please more advanced users. To assist ocenaudio development, a powerful toolset of audio editing, analysis and manipulation called Ocen Framework was created. ocenaudio is also based on Qt framework, a well known library for cross-platform development. Cross-platform support ocenaudio is available for all major operating systems: Microsoft Windows, Mac OS X and Linux. Native applications are generated for each platform from a common source, in order to achieve excelent performance and seamless integration with the operating system. All versions of ocenaudio have a uniform set of features and the same graphical interface, so the skills you learn in one platform can be used in the others. VST plugins support Ocenaudio supports VST (Virtual Studio Technology) plugins, giving its users access to numerous effects. Like the native effects, VST effects can use real-time preview to aide configuration. Real-time preview of effects Applying effects such as EQ, gain and filtering is an important part of audio editing. However, it is very tricky to get the desired result by adjusting the controls configuration alone: you must listen the processed audio. To ease the configuration of audio effects, ocenaudio has a real time preview feature: you hear the processed signal while adjusting the controls. The effect configuration window also includes a miniature view of the selected audio signal. You can navigate on this miniature view in the same way as you do on the main interface, selecting parts that interest you and listening to the effect result in real time. Multiselection for delicate editions To speed up complex audio files editing, ocenaudio includes multi-selection. With this amazing tool, you can simultaneously select different portions of an audio file and listen, edit or even apply an effect to them. For example, if you want to normalize only the excerpts of an interview where the interviewee is talking, just select them and apply the effect. Eficient edition of large files With ocenaudio, there is no limit to the length or the quantity of the audio files you can edit. Using an advanced memory management system, the application keeps your files open without wasting any of your computer's memory. Even in files several hours long, common editing operations such as copy, cut or paste happen almost instantly. Fully featured spectrogram Besides offering an incredible waveform view of your audio files, ocenaudio has a powerful and complete spectrogram view. In this view, you can analyze the spectral content of your audio signal with maximum clarity. Advanced users will be surprised to find that the spectrogram settings are applied in real time. The display is updated immediately when altering features such as the number of frequency bands, window type and size and dynamic range of the display.
