Looking for Two Apps

Can anyone recommend a weather app that has a section like the bottom bit in the screenshot?

I only want one line, 1x4 as a widget but one that can update when the location services is set to "battery saving". 

The usual BBC Weather or Met Office need full location access. 

 

The second annoyance is Google Fit's step counter. Any way of making it square? Or another app I can use to just show me steps?

I like Beautiful Widgets, but not sure if they will do what you want.  They have a free version, but I have only ever used the paid.

 

On the others, I don't know.
